There are 3 key scenarios for not being able to win the buy box:
Can’t compete : Your price is too high compared to competition and buy box price. Repricer can only compete if your minimum price is lower than competitor / buy box price. However this sometimes doesn’t make sense as it might be unprofitable to you. So, while you can reduce your min price and let Repricer win the buy box, you need to weigh in the upside of a sale vs the downside of competing for a bottom price.
NO BUY BOX : This occurs when prices for this SKU are consistently high, preventing Amazon from allocating a Buy Box. To address this, use Keepa to review historical prices and see when the Buy Box was previously assigned to this SKU. Adjust your minimum price accordingly in your repricer to compete for the Buy Box. However, ensure that any price adjustments still maintain your desired profitability.
NOT REPRICING : This issue arises when your minimum and maximum prices are not set. To resolve it, update these prices so the repricer can begin competing for the Buy Box. Additionally, check that your SKUs are not flagged by Amazon's high price alerts. If they are, you must lower the prices on both the Amazon marketplace and in RepricerAI.
Below are some instructions on how to update min/max prices (scenario 3)
Step 1 : Click on “NOT REPRICING” with “793 SKU” box above to see the SKU table
You will see a table of results with an option to download as excel. You can either manually update the min and max prices or Click the “Download as Excel” button to download the results and work on updating locally in Microsoft Excel.
